What does additive-free mean?+
It means none of the synthetic chemicals, preservatives, or fillers that are standard in commercial skincare. No parabens, no SLS, no synthetic fragrances, no palm oil. Every ingredient in our products is there for a reason — to nourish your skin, not to extend shelf life or cut costs.
Are your products vegan?+
Some are, some aren't. Several of our soaps use tallow (rendered beef fat), which is one of the oldest and most effective skincare ingredients but isn't vegan. Our plant-based products are clearly labelled on each product page, and we list every ingredient so you can make an informed choice.
Where are your products made?+
All our skincare products are made by hand, by us, in the UK. We are independent artisan makers. We are small-batch soap makers and natural skincare formulators with honest values.
How long does delivery take?+
Standard delivery is 2–3 working days via Royal Mail. All orders are dispatched from our UK base Monday to Friday.
How much does shipping cost?+
Shipping is calculated by weight at checkout. Small parcels (under 2kg) are £3.65, medium parcels (2–10kg) are £7.35, large parcels (10kg-20kg) are £11.85 and extra large parcels (20kg-30kg) are £20.40.
Can I return a product?+
Yes. If you're not happy with your purchase, contact us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Products must be unused and in their original packaging. Email hello@crapfree.co.uk with your order number to arrange a return.
Do you ship internationally?+
Currently we ship within the UK only. We're working on international shipping — sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when it launches.
Do you offer gift cards?+
Yes! Gift cards are available in denominations from £10 to £100. They're delivered by email to the recipient with a personal message from you, and can be redeemed against any order with no minimum spend.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal — all processed securely through Stripe.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?+
We keep packaging minimal and recyclable wherever possible. Our goal is to minimise plastic as much as possible, we use glass and metal wherever we can. Our soaps ship in compostable paper. Outer packaging is recycled cardboard whenever possible.
